I joined Microsoft BizSpark in December of 2012. BizSpark is a program that provides free software, support, and visibility to help startups succeed. Since its inception in 2008, BizSpark has been helping bootstrapped companies build software and services by providing them with free developer tools, support, and training. I was responsible for guiding the rebuild of all BizSpark web entities from the ground-up and managing the outside project team from the digital experience agency SMITH.

The redesign resulted in a Silver Communicator Award of Distinction from the Communicator Awards, the leading international awards program recognizing big ideas in marketing and communications.

While at Microsoft, I co-produced and designed a founder web series called “The BizSpark Show.” Together with Doug Crets (Global Social Marketing Lead at Microsoft), we conceptualized, developed and engineered each episode of the series, eventually gaining an audience of nearly 30,000 followers on Livestream, with some episodes reaching almost 40,000 views on Channel 9.
